Redwood Coffee House
Krysalis Photography is proud to have been commissioned to photograph barista Robert Ross in action, at the Redwood Coffee House, 97-99 Trafalgar Street, Brighton.
Robert is a talented barista and highly skilled at producing coffee art as he demonstrated admirably throughout the afternoon's photoshoot.
Robert is offering to teach all aspects of espresso preparation and pouring beautiful Latte Art step by step, with plenty of demonstrations and hands-on practice to interested individuals. So if you want to show off to your friends next time they pop round for a coffee, I suggest you drop by Redwood's Coffee House.
The role of a barista is to have in-depth knowledge of all aspects of coffee production in order to prepare the perfect cup of coffee. This includes knowing about the cultivation, drying, roasting and storage of coffee; grinding and tamping methods, extraction times, water temperature and quality, and the operation, maintenance and programming of the machine; micro milk frothing, free pouring and of course latte art.
With its vibrant ambience, there is plenty to keep your attention while you sip your coffee, or simply watch the world go by as you relax on their large comfortable sofas. They also have wireless connection for those who just can't relax.
Redwood Coffee House is certainly far removed from the average chainstore coffee shops. The walls are adorned with nostalgic images of days gone by...
...there's a mouthwatering array of cakes and flapjacks on offer, as well as their famous toasties.
...all accompanied by cool tunes and friendly staff. Oh, and they do tea too!
