Torquay Landscape Photography
You may have noticed there has been quite a few changes since my last post. I have given my website a fresh new look, I have updated my logo to a signature and my primary focus right now is becoming a better landscape photographer. Why? Because there are so many amazing coastlines here in Devon that lend themselves perfectly to how I work. I just need to understand how to bring out the best in them. Landscapes have always been a challenge for me.
As if that weren't enough to keep me occupied, I have also decided to bring in a little filming to my work, and so invested in a GoPro 4 Silver, which is fantastic but has a huge learning curve to use well. More on that to come.
Obviously part of landscape photography is finding great locations and Tereza found a beauty for me, Tintagel. We arrived a little too late to make the most of this spot but I will return. I captured this long exposure image of King Arthur, and while playing around in Photoshop I created this parallax effect.
I will shortly be putting together beginners workshops for landscapes. Which will focus on finding great locations, how to get the most from them, what to look for and avoid, and, using the right gear to get the look you want.
To see a sample of the kind of shots you can expect to create on the workshops, see the shots below.
